This is our Seje Palm
The Seje Palm measures between 20 to 30 mts height.
All of its branches bloom and generate seedlings. As the flower dies, the seeds fall into the ground. Flowers are cut as soon as seeds burst and they become raw material.
Later, they are set to dry under the sun for 10 days. This process gives them their brown, toasted color.
The iron structure is then molded. The raw material is submerged in water until it becomes flexible and softer to shape.
After webbing the piece is left to dry for a week until it hardens.
